Pinelab is more than a business — it’s our lifestyle wrapped into something we can share with other families. It’s the beach, the bush walks, the boat days, the messy hands, the sandy feet, the big ideas, and the magic of growing up in Aotearoa.

From our backyard to yours.
We’re a Papamoa family who lives close enough to the beach to hear the surf from our backyard. Our kids are outside from sunrise to sunset: surfing, kayaking, fishing, running wild with their mates. Their memories are made outside, so we decided to build something that celebrates that kind of childhood.

So who makes them?
Jarad (aka Dad) is a builder by trade and brings the craftsmanship. He’s the guy with the high standards, the perfect finishing, the “measure twice” mindset and a deep love for the outdoors. Hiking, hunting, surfing, fishing — if it involves fresh air and adventure, he’s there. He’s also passionate about teaching practical skills and watching kids grow into confident, resilient little humans.

Cass is the creative. Colours, design, branding, photography, food, and the vision. And the kids? They bring the fun.
They’re our official product raters and the reason our logo is a pineapple — because when you ask kids for branding advice, you get something bright, cheerful and full of personality. Honestly… it’s perfect.
